Revise or develop your in-house Employment Equity Plan

The purpose of the Employment Equity Act is to achieve equity in the workplace by :
  • Promoting equal opportunity and fair treatment in employment through the elimination of unfair discrimination; and
  • Implementing affirmative action measures to redress inequalities for the previously disadvantaged

Scope of Services - Employment Equity 

  • Full project based assistance with employment equity implementation or assistance with specific portions of the project (e.g. conducting an analysis of employment practices)

  • Facilitating Workplace Forums

  • Junior Management Communication Skills Training - Transactional Analysis training course for middle managers incorporating Diversity Awareness
  1. Employee communication - Line Ups
  • Implementation of daily / weekly communication strategy ensuring corporate goals, key business indicators, and essential skills, knowledge and behaviours  are transferred to employees.

 

Process

  1. Prepare a profile of the workplace

  2. Review employment practices and policies

  3. Prepare and implement an Employment Equity Plan

  4. Prepare your workplace skills plans

  5. Integrate the workplace skills plans with your employment equity plans

  6. Lodge a summary of the plan

  7. Consult with the workforce or trade union

  8. Review and report quarterly on implementation and successes, and
